What happened to standards in our Country? It’s as if we have made some sort of ‘discovery’ that standards are burdensome and we need to ‘free’ ourselves of the bondage of standards. The truth is that standards are needed for our lives, our families, our languages, our country, and our world. Standards are what unite us in language, laws, ethics, and life.
I am a mother to five extremely cool adults and grandmother to fourteen terrific, talented, and tremendous young people! Beyond my own children and grandchildren, God has blessed my life richly with a terrific family; parents, siblings, nieces, and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. A terrific church-family and a wonderful job working as the Director of our local Habitat For Humanity affiliate. We all miss my late husband, Ray who patterned out a rich life for his children to follow.
