The Power of a Letter

Occasionally I think about how amazing language is. We make sounds out of our mouths and others pick up the noise and know exactly what we mean. How does that work?!

Then there is the written language, shapes and squiggles convey to you right now what I’m thinking! Amazing! One little shape different and the entire meaning changes!

I wonder too if life is like that? One little action or word from us can either scar or encourage and perhaps change the outcome of how a person’s future goes forward from that time on? I think that’s entirely possible.

I am a mother to five extremely cool adults and grandmother to fourteen terrific, talented, and tremendous young people! Beyond my own children and grandchildren, God has blessed my life richly with a terrific family; parents, siblings, nieces, and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. A terrific church-family and a wonderful job working as the Director of our local Habitat For Humanity affiliate. We all miss my late husband, Ray who patterned out a rich life for his children to follow.
